Guindara nitsuke, or black cod in Japanese sauce

Ingredients
  

  • fillets Guindara black cod
  • for the sauce:
  • 200 cc water
  • 400 cc Mirin
  • 200 cc Sake
  • 200 cc soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoon sugar
  • few drops ginger syrup

Instructions
 

  • Mix the sauce ingredients in a pan and bring to the boil.
  • Add the Guindara fillets and simmer for 15-20 minutes, reducing the sauce and basting the fillets with it.
