Alaska Product Wild Salmon Roe (Ikura)

  • Ikura
  • sushi rice
  • Nori seaweed
  • wasabi
  • for the Tosazuan sauce:
  • sauce for marinating the ikura:
  • soy sauce
  • Mirin


  • De-salt the ikura in cold water.
  • Drain and then marinate in the sauce for 1 hour.
  • Remove from marinade and drain.
  • Make sushi in a gunkan shape.
  • Place the marinated ikura on top of the sushi.
